This Privacy Policy explains how UK Software Ltd collects and processes personal information obtained directly from individuals, through the use of our website and services, through business communications, and from other lawful business sources.

Where UK Software Ltd acts as a data processor on behalf of customers using TranSearch®, the relevant customer organisation remains responsible for determining the lawful basis and purpose of processing personal data within their environment.

We are committed to handling personal information responsibly, securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we process personal information, please contact us using the details at the end of this document.

1. Who We Are

UK Software Ltd is a UK software company specialising in asset management, records management and operational tracking systems.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, UK Software Ltd is generally:

  • the data controller for website, enquiry, marketing and business administration data; and
  • the data processor for customer data stored or processed within TranSearch on behalf of customers.
